Summer tea ceremony demonstration held to celebrate Ukiyo-e exhibition

As part of the events commemorating the Tokyo Fuji Art Museum’s holding of “The Reviving Spirit of Ukiyo-e—From the Meiji Era Kaika-e to Shin-hanga” exhibition, TFAM organized a Japanese tea ceremony demonstration on June 14, 2026 (photo), led bya teacher and staff members. The event was held so that visitors of all ages could experience the ceremony firsthand and it included the offering of traditional Japanese moist sweets celebrating the opening days of summer.

“The Reviving Spirit of Ukiyo-e” exhibition will run until Sunday, June 21, 2026.
