On July 30, His Excellency Drazn Hrastic, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Croatia to Japan, paid a courtesy call on the Tokyo Fuji Art Museum. He was greeted by TFAM Managing Director Yoshiro Shimizu and other museum officials. During his time there, the Croatian ambassador viewed several exhibitions, including “Frontiers of Impressionism: Paintings from the Worcester Art Museum” and “Exhibitions of Embassies, Part II: Pathways to Cultural Exchange with the World,” the current iteration displaying works on loan from the Indonesian Embassy in Tokyo, as well as “From the Renaissance to the 20th Century—500 Years of Western Paintings.”
