Following venues in Seoul, Beijing and Hong Kong, Tokyo Fuji Art Museum’s collection of masterpieces of Western paintings was shown in Taiwan for the first time. As with TFAM’s “Masterpieces of Japanese Art” that was held in Taipei in 1998, “Masterpieces of Western Paintings from the Renaissance to the 20th Century”—which exhibited 70 works spanning a 600-year epoch—materialized at the invitation of the Chinese Culture University.
