Opening in Argentina just shortly after the exhibition opened in Brazil, Tokyo Fuji Art Museum’s “Treasures of Japanese Art—Beauty and Soul of Japan” was comprised of some 80 works from the TFAM collection. The exhibition was made possible through the cooperation of the Executive Office of the President of Argentina. While the Argentine venue equaled the exhibition’s popularity in Brazil, its appeal was heightened by four seminars on Japanese art that were concurrently held by Japanese-Argentine Cultural Foundation president Osvaldo Svanacini.
