
On October 4, 2025, the Tokyo Fuji Art Museum opened “From the Old Masters to the Modernists: 400 Years of Western Paintings” drawn from its “Masterpieces from Tokyo Fuji Art Museum” that was shown at 13 venues nationwide and attracting more than 500,000 visitors. The latest exhibition features 83 masterworks offering a panoramic view of the rich, exquisite history of the most fabled artists in the West. (Aside from selected paintings, photographs are permitted at this exhibition.)
Visitors can also take in three exhibitions on concurrent display: “From the Renaissance to the 20th Century—500 Years of Western Paintings”; “Exhibitions of Embassies, Part III: Embassy of the Republic of Tunisia in Japan—Pathways to Cultural Exchange with the World”; and “Selected Works from TFAM’s Exquisite Jewelry Collection.” All four exhibitions will run until January 18, 2025.
