TFAM premiers exhibition on the lifework of famed Japanese animator

On July 12, 2025, the Tokyo Fuji Art Museum opened the “Tezuka Osamu Exhibit” portraying a narrative and works of one of Japan’s most renowned manga and anime creators. Included among some 200 items on display are manuscripts, video footage, documents and beloved mementos that Tezuka kept over the years.

At the same time, visitors can also view three exhibitions on concurrent display: “From the Renaissance to the 20th Century—500 Years of Western Paintings”; “Exhibitions of Embassies, Part II: Embassy of the Republic of Croatia in Japan—Pathways to Cultural Exchange with the World”; and “Selected Works from TFAM’s Exquisite Jewelry Collection.” All four exhibitions will run until September 15 this year.
