On July 15, 2025, the Tokyo Fuji Art Museum invited fourth-graders from Hachioji Municipal Shimizu Elementary School to view the “Tezuka Osamu Exhibit” and “From the Renaissance to the 20th Century—500 Years of Western Paintings” exhibition. Each child was given a specific aspect to discover as they looked over the works on display, such as finding a famous character from a Tezuka anime, or enjoying zoetropes giving motion to characters created by the renowned Japanese manga and animation artist.
