
On March 29, the Soka Art Museum in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, held the opening ceremony to “From Edo to Modernity: Selections from the Tokyo Fuji Art Museum” exhibition. The exhibition, which will run until May 25, features some 150 ukiyo-e pieces that depict the everyday lives of Japanese in the 17th- to 19th century that were created by masters of the medium, including Katsushika Hokusai. TFAM Board of Trustees Chair Kazuhiko Oshida and Director Yoshiro Shimizu attended the opening ceremony.
