On December 19, a delegation led by His Excellency Ahmed Chafra, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tunisia to Japan, paid a courtesy call on the Tokyo Fuji Art Museum. Greeted by TFAM Director Akira Shimizu and other museum officials, the Tunisian delegates viewed the “Samurai Art: The Warrior Aesthetic of Feudal Japan” exhibition, the “Exhibition of Embassies, Part III: Pathways to Cultural Exchange with the World—Bulgaria Edition” and the exhibitions, “From the Renaissance to the 20th Century—500 Years of Western Paintings” and “Nippon Bedecked: Photographs from the Meiji Era.”
