On October 30, Zhao Shengliang, the former director of the Dunhuang Research Academy in China, visited the Tokyo Fuji Art Museum. He was welcomed by TFAM Senior Director Akira Kaneko and other museum officials. Mr. Shengliang later toured the “Samurai Art: The Warrior Aesthetic of Feudal Japan” exhibition and “Exhibition of Embassies, Part III: Pathways to Cultural Exchange with the World—Bulgaria Edition,” along with two other exhibitions, “From the Renaissance to the 20 Century—500 Years of Western Paintings” and “Nippon Bedecked: Photographs from the Meiji Era.”
