
On October 16, acclaimed Chinese painter Xu Li called on the Tokyo Fuji Art Museum, welcomed by TFAM Senior Director Akira Kaneko and other museum officials. Mr. Li is a member of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference and Vice Chairman of China Artists Association. During his visit, the Chinese painter viewed four exhibitions—“Samurai Art: The Warrior Aesthetic of Feudal Japan,” “Exhibition of Embassies, Part III: Pathways to Cultural Exchange with the World—Bulgaria Edition,” “From the Renaissance to the 20 Century—500 Years of Western Paintings” and “Nippon Bedecked: Photographs from the Meiji Era.”
