On June 22, the Tokyo Fuji Art Museum launched its special outreach initiative catering to children for 2024, led by students in Soka University’s museum education class as well as students of other universities taking part in the museum’s internship program. Speaking in English, they acted as docents to 21 faculty members and students of Hong Kong’s Yew Chung College of Early Childhood Education who viewed TFAM’s exhibitions currently on display at the permanent gallery. They were joined later by 25 Japanese children, their guardians and teachers.
