
On April 1, the Tokyo Fuji Art Museum announced the following changes in executive personnel. Akira Gokita, who served as Managing Director, was appointed Advisor, with Yoshiro Shimizu assuming Gokita’s former post. A member of the NGO artistic organization Nihon Bijutsuin since 2005, Shimizu taught Nihon-ga (traditional Japanese painting) at Aichi University of the Arts while serving as a Deputy Director at TFAM. Kenichi Hirano was named Deputy Director.
