On January 25, His Excellency César Augusto Montaño Huerta, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Ecuador to Japan, made a courtesy call on the Tokyo Fuji Art Museum. He was welcomed by TFAM Managing Director Akira Gokita and other museum officials. During his visit, Ambassador Montaño toured “From the Renaissance to the 20th Century—500 Years of Western Paintings” and “Silk Road and Japan—Tracing the History of Cultural Exchange Woven by Daisaku Ikeda and Ikuo Hirayama” exhibitions.
