
On November 22, the Museum of Kyoto held the opening ceremony of “The Great Silk Road World Heritage Exhibition: Honoring 45 Years of Peace and Amity between Japan and China,” an exhibition on loan from the Tokyo Fuji Art Museum. TFAM Senior Director Akira Kaneko and Director Yoshiro Shimizu attended the ceremony. The exhibition features some 200 works drawn from the collections of 27 museums and art research institutes from a total of 11 locations across China, including 44 designated as first-tier national treasures by the government, and will run from November 23 to February 2, 2025.
