On December 27, 2022, Liaoning Provincial Museum in Shenyang, capital of China’s Liaoning province, opened the exhibition “Vision and Gaze: Western Figure Painting from Tokyo Fuji Art Museum” for public viewing. The Shenyang exhibition, on loan from TFAM’s collection, features some 60 works focusing on portraits by such prominent painters as Bernardo Strozzi and Hyacinthe Rigaud.
