
On October 20, Tokyo Fuji Art Museum Board of Trustees Chair Kazuhiko Oshida, Director Akira Gokita and Executive Director Akira Kaneko paid a courtesy call on His Excellency Dr. Clemens von Goetze, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Germany to Japan. Among the topics of their amicable exchange at the German Embassy in Tokyo was “Ancient Egypt—The Creation of the World,” an exhibition currently showing at TFAM featuring some 130 works selected from the superlative collection of the Egyptian Museum of Berlin.
