
On August 22, the Tokyo Fuji Art Museum welcomed its nine millionth visitor. On hand to welcome the honored guest, Kumiko Kishi, was TFAM Trustee Yumiko Sugimoto. The museum opened its doors to the public on November 3, 1983, established with the express purpose of sharing the world’s finest works of art from around the world with people not only in Japan but worldwide. TFAM has engaged in cultural exchanges with numerous institutions abroad, along with various outreach initiatives locally and globally.
