The Tokyo Fuji Art Museum held a press conference on April 4 to introduce one of its latest exhibitions, “Maki-e : A Kaleidoscope of the Japanese Aesthetic—Discovering by Monocle the Beauty Underlying the Beauty of Lacquer Art.” The exhibition features 122 works belonging to the museum, 57 of them unveiled for the first time to the public.
