Former PM Fukuda visits museum

Former Japanese Prime Minister Yasuo Fukuda visited the Tokyo Fuji Art Museum on Wednesday, November 9. TFAM Board of Trustees Chair Kenji Harashima and Director Akira Gokita were among those welcoming Mr. Fukuda, who toured the “Chinese Characters: A Legacy and Marvel Per-fected Over Three Millennia” as well as “From the Renaissance to the 20 Century—500 Years of Western Paintings” exhibitions.

The former prime minister also viewed the “Tavola Doria,” a renowned oil painting dating back to the 16th century and believed to represent the central portion of Leonardo da Vinci’s never-completed “The Battle of Anghiari.”
