On June 30, a delegation from the Chinese Culture University of Taiwan led by Board member Zhang Hai-yan visited the Tokyo Fuji Art Museum. TFAM Director Satoshi Itsukida was on hand to welcome them.
The Taiwanese delegates viewed the exhibition, “Katana—A Millennium of Swordsmith Mastery,” currently on display, as well as the permanent exhibitio2n, “From the Renaissance to the 20th Century—50 Years of Western Paintings.”
Mr. Zhang reported that the TFAM exhibition presently on display at the National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts, “Hokusai to Hiroshige: Grand Masters of Ukiyo-e from Tokyo Fuji Art Museum’s Permanent Collection,” has been a great success.
