Moscow Kremlin Museums visits TFAM

A Moscow Kremlin Museums delegation led by General Director Yelena Gargarina paid a courtesy call on the Tokyo Fuji Art Museum on January 27. TFAM Director was on hand to welcome them, expressing his gratitude for the longstanding support the Kremlin Museums has extended to his institutions over the years.

With a collection of some 100,000 artworks and artifacts, the Kremlin Museum was established in 1806 and is recognized as a World Heritage Site. General Director Gargarina is the daughter of the world’s first man in space, Yuri Gargarin.

Following discussions regarding future corroborative projects, the Russian delegates viewed the exhibition, “A Pageantry of Faces: The Magical Allure of Human Expressions.”
