TFAM Director Lectures at the Opening of “Feast of Beauty: 300 Years of Western Painting” in Tokushima

On Wednesday, April 29, TFAM Director Akira Gokita gave a special lecture at the opening of the exhibition “Feast of Beauty: 300 Years of Western Painting From Baroque and Rococo to Ecole de Paris” at the Tokushima Modern Art Museum.

He spoke on the history of paintings featured in the exhibition and shared anecdotes related to them. The exhibition was held from April 29 to June 21 before moving to the Yawatahama City Gallery in Ehime Prefecture, where it will run from June 27 to August 30.
