The Tokyo Fuji Art Museum is showing the exhibition, “Edo Period Paintings: Their Ascendance and Quintessence—Masterpieces by Jakuchu, Shohaku Okyo and Goshun, Part II.”
Drawing primarily on TFAM’s extensive private collection, the works featured in the exhibition that were created by artists during the Edo era (1603-1868) have since become iconic for pre-modern Japanese paintings.
