The Tokyo Fuji Art Museum is proud to announce that the cherry trees planted in the courtyard are now in full bloom. We recommend visitors to take in its natural splendor as part of their tour of our exhibited works.
The tree was named after René Huyghe (1906-97), the French art critic and member of the Academie Francaise, in honor of his contributions to the launch of TFAM and its special opening exhibition, Masterpieces of French Art. He also published the dialogue, Dawn After Dark, with TFAM founder Daisaku Ikeda in 1991.
