TFAM Accepting Applications for 2011 Children’s Summer Workshop Program

The Tokyo Fuji Art Museum will be accepting applications for those interested in participating in its 2011 Children’s Summer Workshop Program that will be held on three separate Saturdays starting from July 23. This program is designed primarily for elementary school and junior high school students.

  • ●The first workshop is an art appreciation class for children introducing works from the TFAM collection. The three-session workshop will be held at TFAM on July 23 from 1030, 1300 and 1500 hours.
  • ●The second workshop is a quiz-and-game event, “Mission in Museum!” It will be held at TFAM on August 20 from 1030, 1300 and 1500 hours.
  • ●The third workshop offers instruction on making paper dragonflies that can actually take flight. It will be held at TFAM on August 27 from 1030 and 1400 hours.
  • ●Applicants need to register in advance by calling the program liaison at 042-691-4826 or email us at this page. The following information will be required: 1) Name and age of applicants; 2) Telephone contact (preferably cellphone); and 3) Workshop you want to enroll in and the time of the session
  • ●Applicants will not be charged for enrollment in and supplies for the workshops, but they will be asked to pay for general admission into the museum (elementary school and junior high school students are exempted on Saturdays).
