Tokyo Run for Palace of Heaven on Earth Exhibition Postponed, Rescheduled to 2012

The Tokyo Fuji Art Museum announced today that the Tokyo showing of “The Palace of Heaven on Earth: Works from the Palace Museum in Beijing” exhibition will be postponed due to a period of national mourning following the Great East Japan Earthquake of March 11.

The exhibition has since been rescheduled to run from March 29, 2012 to May 8, 2012. The showing at other venues in Japan will not be affected and proceed as originally announced. We thank you for your understanding regarding the rescheduling and look forward to your patronage in the future.
