Host : The Rajiv Gandhi Foundation; Tokyo Fuji Art Museum
Supported By : Air India; Bharat Soka Gakkai
When the Tokyo Fuji Art Museum held a special exhibition of the photographic works by Rajiv Gandhi (1944-1991) in Japan in April 1996, “Rajiv Gandhi: An Intimate Vision” proved to be an unqualified success. At the request from the Rajiv Gandhi Foundation—one of the key agencies in India whose generous cooperation made the Japan showing possible—TFAM opened the exhibition in New Delhi, a place held dear by the slain prime minister. It proved to be equally successful there, drawing visitors from all walks of life.
