Drawn from more than 300 works loaned by museums in eight countries, including 33 from the Kremlin Museums of Russia, “Napoleon and His Time: The Sublime Triumph of Culture” featured representative pieces of ceramic ware and jewelry from that era. The special exhibition focuses on Napoleon’s cultural achievements, from the development of the handicraft industry and cultural facilities built under his regime, to the promulgation of the Napoleonic Code.
