OVERVIEW

The Sao Paolo Museum of Art is the largest institute of its kind in the southern hemisphere founded in 1947 by Brazilian media mogul Assis Chateaubriand. The special exhibition, “Sao Paolo Museum of Art—The Miraculous Collection,” brought together 60 masterpieces of Western paintings owned by the Brazilian museum from the 15th to 20th century. Selected from the one of the greatest collections in the world, the section of masterpieces by such impressionists and post-impressionists as Manet, Monet, Renoir, Van Gogh, Gauguin and Cezanne are truly “miraculous.”
