“The Land of Gentle Smiles: Special Exhibition of Photographs by His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej of Thailand” was made possible through the goodwill and generosity extended by His Majesty and the Royal Thai Family. An avid and highly skilled photographer, King Bhumibol often develops and prints his own photographs. For the special exhibition, His Majesty provided 101 works on the Royal Family, the natural splendor of Thailand, and a community development project promoted by the Royal Family that were shown to a public audience for the first time.
