EXHIBITION OVERVIEW

Under the reign of Louis XV, the rococo style and movement flourished largely through the influence and patronage of such figures as the marquis de Pompadour. “Masterpieces of French Painting from the 18th Century” was a special exhibition featuring some of the finest works of that era that belonged to a private collection.
