An ambitious introduction of the remarkable cultural heritage of ancient Greece through works provided by eight Sicilian museums, “Ancient Greek Treasures from Sicily” is a special exhibition of sculptures, ceramics, masks, personal accessories, coins and even entire shrine columns, from the 8th century B.C. to the 2nd century B.C. The some 700 pieces on display made the exhibition one of the largest in the world in terms of scale and content.
